Massage Therapy
Therapeutic massage is a holistic healing practice aimed at promoting physical and emotional well-being. It involves the manipulation of soft tissue in the body, including muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Research has shown that therapeutic massage can be effective in reducing stress, alleviating pain, and enhancing circulation. Furthermore, studies indicate that it may improve sleep quality, boost immune function, and provide relief from conditions such as anxiety and depression.
The practice of therapeutic massage often includes different modalities, such as Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage including hot stones, moist heat and aromatherapy.
Each session is tailored to meet the individual needs of the client. These modalities focus on different layers of muscle and connective tissue, and the therapist may incorporate elements of stretching, joint mobilization, and guided breathing to enhance the overall experience. Ongoing research continues to explore the physiological and psychological benefits of therapeutic massage, establishing it as an integral component of a comprehensive wellness program.
Our sessions range from 30 minutes to 90 minutes depending on the needs of the client.
